New family member
Say “hi” to Max, our newest family member …
Some time ago we decided that Frisco needs a companion to keep him “busy” during the day while I’m working. A recent visit to the Santa Fe Humane Society was supposed to be just that, a visit - but, of course, we should have been smarter and should have known that we can’t leave the place without adopting a new dog.
There were four puppies of a stray dog, which, according to the Humane Society staff, were classified as “Labrador mixes”. One of them managed to convince us that he would be the right addition to the family. After seeing “Max” for a few days we believe there is some “Pitbull” in him as well, but only in a few months we’ll be able to tell definitely.
On Friday last week while I was still in San Jose, Candice picked up “Max” and brought him home. Since then we wiped up numerous puddles in the house (luckily most of them on the tiles) and even had to clean up the solid-brown-mess once.
Frisco is very happy and plays with the puppy the whole day. He does not seem to be jealous and is happy to share toys and food with the newcomer.

Hey GEEKS!
Max looks like a “frisky” one! It also looks like he’s made himself quite “at home”…sleeping w/ the Frisco Man! So cute!!!
If he does have some pit bull in him, I’d be a bit worried—he may have a “vicious” side to him. That would be my only concern.

Hallo Tobias & Candice,
what a lovely dog! Max will make me an even more regular viewer of your homepage -
Happy Chinese New Year of the Goat,
Kerstin
Looks like Frisco might be Max’d out! They are sooo cute together! I bet Max will be just fine even if he does have some Pit Bull in him - because it’s all in how they’re raised. Go rent some Lil’ Rascal videos and you’ll wish he really was a pit bull (aka Staffordshire Terrier).
