The “hot” season started
It’s that time of the year again where fires seem to flare up left and right of us. The picture below was taken on Sunday a few days ago, the day before we left for a camping trip into the Jemez mountains. What you see right in front of you *are* the Jemez mountains. Wasn’t that bad after all and I guess there were a lot less people because of this tiny fire in the distance.
On the other hand: Albuquerque had some pretty nasty fires right in town for the last two days. Interesting that it seems to happen always in the area where the expensive homes are. Also interesting that the fire department thinks it was arson in both cases …
