Baby head against tiles - tiles win
Pia now knows that the tiles are a bit harder than her head. She jumped from the counter in the kitchen - head first - and tried to break one of the tiles on the floor. Tiles won. Baby won’t do it again. Colorful eye reminds baby about the mistake, but she’s fine.
My daughter’s informal name around the house during her first year or so was “Massive Head Wound,” because it seemed like as soon as she was able to move, she’d always bump her head on something.
She doesn’t show any ill effects from it at two and a half, though. Those kids are made from sturdy stuff.
