Radler - I deserve one

I just returned from the gym. It’s very hot outside and I lost a lot of fluids working out. Time to give back to the body what it lost. Luckily I happend to have a half-liter glass from Bavaria, some wheat beer and a Hansen-lemonade. Here’s a traditional Bavarian drink which I’ve enjoyed so often in beergardens around Munich. It’s called Radler. A mix of beer and lemonade, which is still very popular in Bavaria in the summer time.

Step 1: get a big glass, some beer and some lemonade

Step 2: add beer to the glass (always start with the beer, otherwise the two drinks won’t mix too well)

Step 3: add lemonade

Step 4: Prost!

You know, I went to the Teske’s German bar/restaurant in downtown San Jose. I had a wheat beer. It was soooo yucky. My friend tried to add a lime to make it better. It didn’t work. Maybe it is an acquired taste? I like the Oktoberfest (sp?).
