Saturday Morning Walk
When Pia was here this weekend we went for a walk with the dogs on Saturday. I can’t believe how much the little one grows these days: her fingers, her toes, everything seems to change shape almost every day. I think if I did a few-hours-time-lapse of her body one would literally be able to see her grow.
First stop on our walks is always “the tunnel”. It’s a duct that sends the water from a small arroyo under our drive-way. It’s big enough for Pia to walk through and she has to do it every time we go for a walk. Funny thing is that she always peeks into the duct and announces “no coyotes in there!” before she makes her way through it:
Second stop on the walk is the little hill at the beginning of our property. Again, she has to climb up there and run down with a long and loud “weeeeee ….”:
And let’s not forget some dog-action. Max loves to play with sticks. The bigger the better. While walking Pia always looks for big sticks - actually make that branches - and then screams for Max to come and get it. This time she found a pretty big and actually had trouble holding it, because it was so heavy. You can also tell that it was freezing that day.

I cannot believe how Pia has grown–I also notice it all the time. Her feet, especially. She looks so grown up in these pictures.
Not only her feet are growing, but her hands! Her hands are luckily growing along w/ the feet size!
So cute, my little granddaughter!
