Belated birthday party pictures
Saturday a week ago we had invited to a birthday party at my place. We had about 15 kids and the same number of adults at the house. So, how do you make sure that a bunch of 4-year olds don’t totally trash your house? Well, here’s the solution:
That’s one of those blow-up bouncy castles (they call it a “spacewalk”). Santa Fe Party Rentals gives you one of those if you fork over enough cash. Adam was nice enough to pick it up with his truck in the morning (thanks again), because it would not fit into my car. Just 5 mins after unfolding it and connecting the air-pump this thing was standing about 40 ft tall.
Pia got to try it out first before everybody else and she loved it. Soon after the first kids arrived, this thing turned out to be a real hit with all of them.
Bouncing makes hungry and after eating some pizza, we also got to enjoy a delicious strawberry-cake:
It was still nice outside and everybody decided to have the cake in front of the house:
Was a bit too cold in the shade and soon people moved over into the direct sun:
