Obama’s 2006 tax return
After all this back and forth between the Obama and Clinton campaigns, I decided to seek out the original of Obama’s 2006 tax return. I had the hardest time finding it and once found, I decided to share it here. You’ll find the PDF version of the 2006 1040-form below. As mentioned elsewhere, it only includes the 1040-form, but no attachments (which happen to be part of the whole return) with more detailed information. Use the menu in the top-left to get access to the PDF document.

Wade and others – if you want to print the document, click somewhere on the document above. A new tab/window will open with a large preview of the tax return. On the right above the blue box you will find a “Download” button. Pressing that one will send the Adobe PDF version of the document to your system. You should be able to print that one easily.

This was the only tax return I could find and I doubt there are other publicly available ones.

How does he avoid the AMT tax?

It appears his regular tax was more than the AMT due.

After listening to the Obamas, their past and present pastor, and their congregation’s anti-American screaming and gyrating about the lack of opportunities in America … the Obamas sure did benefit financially from our American system.
They made MUCH more than the majority of Americans make … white, or black. And, especially considering the fact that we paid Obama for voting ‘present’ during most of his time in the senate … and, since he didn’t vote once on the Afganistan committe he chaired.
