The dangers of direct marketing …

Lesson 1: Don’t make yourself look like a fool by sending a “Free Botox!” advert to a 4-year old (see scan below)! I just called them to make her appointment. They seemed to be surprised when I asked them if they had comic books and toys in the waiting area.

Is it legal? How did they got her name and address?
P.S. It may be interesting for you http://www.lewrockwell.com/north/north648.html

I’m not sure how they got her name/address, but identities are being traded here in the US like they are vegetables on a farmers market.
I just recently went ballistic with my health insurance (!) after they shared information about Pia’s visit to the emergency room (benign) with a law firm who wanted to sue somebody on her behalf. Quite often people are automatically “opted in” on sharing data with other companies and one needs to make a call to “opt out”. Sick, sick, sick!

Thanks for the link - it’ll appear on the front page in a minute.
