Hey, Tobs! My friend just adopted a German Short Haired Pointer from a rescue organization. Her new name is “Black Betty” since her coloring is black and white. Well, her first day home alone–what did she do? My friend had a new, tall fence erected around the yard. Betty discovered how to open the gate by pulling on the string to open the latch and skidaddled. Luckily, a neighbor found her. Another time, she was in my friend’s father’s backyard. She found a loose plank in the fence, pried it open with her paws, went into the neighbor’s yard, went swimming, and ate the neighbor’s dog’s food. They only discovered Betty in the other yard when they heard the other dog whining. If she were in a dog pen, she would figure out how to scale it and escape! Is Frisco this way?
