First real snow for the season

Pictured above is my problem. Since yesterday morning I received about a foot of snow here. You can’t really see how deep the snow is in the picture above, but there are wind-blown areas where you can barely see Frisco’s head sticking out. My Magnum has a lot less clearance than an SUV, but I will need to get my bottom to town to get some supplies. The plan is to walk the dogs and clear a path on the driveway – shouldn’t take more than 2-3 hrs – ugh! Wish me luck.

Update: Half as bad as I thought it would be. During my lunch break I went outside and cleared out some of the worst sections on my driveway. Dogs loved the fact that I was throwing big heaps of snow at them. Dad did not love it as much, because by noon the snow had gotten really wet and heavy. I used the Magnum to plow the rest of the driveway: drove up and down a few times to compact some of the snow. Let’s hope it does not freeze over too much.
