I usually find a handful of unsuccessful SSH login attempts in my log files in the morning. Was quite surprised to see that this number was 82 since yesterday evening. And they all appear to be unique ip-addresses – no host attempted multiple attacks.
If the situation is the same all over the net, then I think we are seeing a pretty big botnet attack at the moment.
