Earthbox update
On 5/7/2009 I showed you this photo:
Two tiny tomato plants in one huge Earthbox. I never thought that they would fill in the entire area. I’m happy to report I was wrong. This is the situation on 7/13/2009:
I count at least 50 tomatoes on the two plants and there are still tons of extra flowers on them. I have another plant out in the back in a conventional container. That plant was potted at the same time as the ones in the Earthbox and it was bigger to begin with. It also gets more sunshine. However, it dwarfs in comparison to the ones out in the front.
Next photos when we are close to harvesting them …

Wow, How are the earth boxes working for you? Myself and another or nurse I work with just put together earth box instructions for our co-workers we have an earth box experiment going on right now to see how we all do. Unfortunate mishap my puppy dug mine up.
